Our Redditch plastering services
Internal plastering
Many properties in Redditch still have their original ceilings, which can often develop cracks or sag over time. Rather than simply filling cracks, we professionally overboard and skim ceilings to restore a smooth, flawless finish.
Walls that have been lined with thick wallpaper or patched after leaks are carefully stripped back to a stable, sound background before applying new plaster. Our skimming service provides a thin, smooth finish essential for painting or decorating. We always prepare the surface by removing loose or hollow plaster before skimming.
We also specialise in dry lining for extensions and garage conversions. This includes fixing plasterboard, taping joints, setting beads, cutting sockets, and applying a skim coat to match the rest of the property. If boards are still being fitted by carpenters, we coordinate to complete skimming once that work is finished.
External rendering
As approved applicators, our external rendering uses K Rend silicone render, a durable and attractive through-colour finish that offers weather resistance compared with traditional masonry paint. Ideal for full elevations, extensions and gables, this render provides long-lasting protection and requires minimal maintenance.
We carefully remove any loose render and prepare the surface by fitting beads around openings and embedding reinforcing mesh into the basecoat before applying the colour layer. To protect adjacent brickwork and grounds, we mask areas before starting. Patching is only priced if the surrounding render is sound. If a section is hollow or needs a larger repair, we will say so.
